Nelson's milk snakes (Lampropeltis triangulum nelsoni) are shy and reclusive, taking cover during the day under logs and rocks. Their flexibility allows them to wriggle through crevices and cracks. They are generally crepuscular, that is, they are most active and come out to hunt at dawn and dusk.
